Chapter III, speaks to the reasons that Black women and Black men are at loggerheads. Emphasis is on realizing African and African-American historical perspectives relative to spirituality, intellectuality, and traditions.

Chapter IV, shows us what African-Americans must do to become a progressive people equaling all other people in America. Self-initiatives and business creation are the essentials that must be accompanied by unity of effort and uniformity of participation, and these are the only ways to alleviate lack of achievement of prosperity across the boards for the African-American community.
